Love deeply. Lead boldly. Live beautifully.

what's growing in leah's garden

hydrangeas

Hydrangeas are a personal favorite and easy to grow. My garden is full of Limelight Hydrangeas and Endless Summer Blue Hydrangeas.

coneflowers

I can't imagine a flower bed without some coneflowers.  With a myriad of color choices, these add tall pops of color to any sunny garden spot. Someday, I hope to learn more about their medicinal properties!

english daisy

english daisy

This is the first time I attempting to grow English Daisies. They were discounted at the garden store, and I loved the delicate blooms. So far, I find they need an abundance of water!

lavender

english daisy

Lavender is a garden staple for its hardiness, color, and amazing fragrance. Garden novices find lavender an easy perennial to add to their beds. I love to grow and harvest lavender.

moonbeam coreopsis

This easy grower LOVES full sun and is a repeat perennial filling in garden beds with a bright yellow burst of blooms. I put moonbeams in 4 years ago, and they are growing abundantly!

hosta

In NW Ohio, hostas are in abundance.  There is a variety for every taste. Hostas are hardy and are easy to divide when the plants are ready. They love the shade but also do well in the sun with enough water.

god almighty first planted a garden. and indeed, it is the purest of human pleasures.
